I am unashamedly obsessed by the idea of this book. How often are you sitting around waiting for something (such as anything to do with Translink… or getting free birth control…) and the only form of available entertainment is a Georgia Straight, the good parts of which can be read in 5 minutes? For those of us without iPhones (“yet”, I keep telling myself), entertainment and music are not always handy… so I am definitely considering carrying “Where’s Waldo? The Ultimate Travel Collection” around with me from now on. After all, Waldo and his friends are such tricky bastards that you could actually spend a huge chunk of time searching for them; 15 minutes goes by in a snap when you’re looking for that fucking cane/wizard hat. This journal-sized book is “a compilation of Waldo’s world-famous excursions, including scenes from ‘Where’s Waldo’, ‘Where’s Waldo Now?’, ‘Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey’, ‘Where’s Waldo? The Wonder Book’, and ‘Where’s Waldo? In Hollywood’”. Pure awesome, and only $11.60 at Book Warehouse.
Just look at those piercing eyes and mocking grin... you know he's really thinking "Just try and find me you halfwit, so I can show you what I really use this cane for".
